We are the UConn women's club ice hockey team, and we need your help! We play in the highly competitive American Collegiate Hockey Association Women's Division 2 league (ACHA). We practice and play most of our home games out of the Toscano Ice Forum but do have to outsource our game slots in the spring semester to an off-campus rink which is typically more expensive. We play from mid-September to about mid-March depending on our game schedule. We are one of the only organizations on campus who has to pay to use the on-campus facilities forcing our dues to be on the more expensive side. The high price of dues often deters potential players from joining the team and playing the sport they love competitively in college. Your kind donation will help us afford the cost of ice time and lower our dues to continue to grow our program. Additionally, The ACHA has enacted a rule preventing teams from participating in the national tournament if the team does not have matching gloves, helmets and shells. Our team has been growing better and better every year and making the national tournament is our ultimate goal. Your donation will help to make that possible in the next coming years. Any additional funds will be used for the general activities of the team.
