Please donate to the Mental Health Committee to help us raise awareness about mental health issues in the legal field and promote healthy minds in the UConn Law community!
Law school can be a stressful time for students as they adjust to a new style of instruction, take on a great deal of responsibility, and prepare for a highly competitive internship and job application process. The law is also a profession where many practitioners have historically struggled with mental health and substance use issues, and learning healthy habits early on is critical for the next generation of attorneys. That's why we're committed to providing support for students going through law school and educating students about how to care for ourselves and prioritize our mental health.
The Mental Health Committee regularly hosts giveaways of stress-relieving and self-care items, like squeeze toys, candy, and Emergen-C, on World Mental Health Day and in advance of finals each semester. Donations to the Mental Health Committee will help us continue these giveaways to UConn Law students. Any additional funds will be used for the general activites of the Mental Health Committee.
