About Ignite

A Minor is UConn’s premier co-ed a cappella group, founded in 2004 out of the Asian American Cultural Center. We are centered on musicality, fun, community, and drive! As a competitive group, we compete bi-annually in the International Competition of Collegiate A-Cappella (ICCA), where we are returning to the stage this year after placing second at the 2024 Northeast Semifinal.

We greatly appreciate any and all donations; our funds are used for reserving rehearsal spaces, transportation to and from gigs, general group activities, competition registration fees, and so much more.

We love to perform and to experience new opportunities through music, but ultimately, we love spending time together and cultivating a strong sense of friendship and community. On and off the stage, A Minor is not just an ensemble; we are a family united through generations by our love for music and each other. THANK YOU DONORS for helping us thrive for over two decades!
