Astronomy Association is UConn's only undergraduate organization for all things space! We invite undergraduates from all majors to explore, discuss, and enjoy astronomy in a relaxed and educational environment. We organize observation nights, where we use our club telescopes and binoculars to observe the night sky. We also make trips to local observatories, planetariums, and sometimes even astronomy expos!
Your support helps us buy new equipment and arrange more experiences for UConn undergraduates to learn astronomy hands-on. Since our club is entirely student-run, we rely on donations to pay for guest speakers at meetings, purchase new equipment for observation nights, and pay travel and registration fees for events our club participates in. Any additional funds will be used to support the general activities of the group.
