Studying abroad is a life-changing experience, but financial barriers often prevent first-generation and low-income students from participating. CAPS/SSS4Abroad is dedicated to making global learning accessible by providing financial support to students apart of the Center for Access and Postsecondary Success.
Since 2001, over 500 CAPS/SSS students have studied abroad, gaining cultural awareness, leadership skills, and academic enrichment. However, many more students miss out due to cost. With your donation, we can break down financial barriers and give more CAPS/SSS students the opportunity to expand their education through international experiences. This year we have the opportunity to send 45 CAPS students abroad to Peru and Spain, but we need your help to make it happen.
Your support will help provide scholarships that open doors to global opportunities, ensuring that every student, regardless of barriers, can broaden their horizons and bring new perspectives back to UConn.
