Husky Hungama

Husky Hungama is the University of Connecticut's only South Asian Fusion A Capella group, established in 2011. The group consists of a 5-part harmony and vocal percussion that fuses South Asian and Western music together. Through our music, we are proud to reflect the personal histories of many members as we discover and express our Asian and American identities while growing up in the US. We constantly try to blend vastly different cultures in creative and harmonious ways, and usually require tremendous support to continually provide our community with unique culturally stimulating experiences. Husky Hungama has been a spearhead for multiculturalism and music education since its founding and would love to continue doing so with the support of Ignite.

Any additional funds will be used for the general activities of the group.
