Rubyfruit is an all-treble voiced a cappella group from the University of Connecticut! We were founded in 1999 by a group of women who aimed to promote women's empowerment through music. We encourage treble voiced students of all ages at UConn to come audition for us at the beginning of every semester!
Over the years, we’ve performed across campus and beyond. From opening for the Radio City Rockettes to opening for one of our favorite bands, Sammy Rae & Friends. Most recently, we were honored to perform at the Aldrich Gala in celebration of Governor Lamont and the State of Connecticut.
We sing a wide variety of genres, always balancing strong musicality with fun, connection, and performance. Ultimately aiming to empower women through song.
Any additional funds will be used for the general activities of the group.
