UConn Surya is UConn's premier competitive Bollywood Fusion dance team. We compete nationally in the Desi Dance Network in a variety of dance styles including Bollywood, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Bhangra, and Classical. Through dance, we are able to incorporate South Asian styles of dance with Western styles. This team offers a safe and fun environment for people to foster new friendships, grow as dancers, and create lasting memories.
Any additional funds will be used for the general activities of the group.
