Who We Are

Hi, we are UConn Women's Club Soccer! Our team plays competitive soccer against other club teams across the state, region, and nation! Our team is a close-knit group of women who never lost our love for soccer.

As an organization, we share common goals to play and enjoy the game of soccer. We are a very driven group who competes at high levels of soccer, and have ambitions to make the postseason for Regional and National tournaments. And above all, we are a united group who enjoy each other's company while playing the game we all love together. Club soccer provides us with lifelong friendships and connections, contributing to this fun and exciting time throughout college!

Goals for Ignite

With the donations gifted to our club, we will use the funds towards:

- League and tournament registrations

- To pay the officials who ref our games

- Travel expenses for competitions

- To acquire new soccer equipment for practice and games

Accomplishments

- In the past three Fall seasons (2025, 2024, 2023), we have made it to the NIRSA (National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association) Regional Tournaments at UMass and Stony Brook; we have made it to the Semi-Finals each of those years as well.

- In 2023, we traveled to Texas for the NIRSA National Tournament, placing third place in the Open Division.

- In 2022, the team were finalists in NIRSA's Nationals Championship Division in Texas.

- In 2021, the team were finalists in NIRSA's Nationals Open Division in Alabama.

- Regional Champions in 2019 and 2016.

- 11-time League Champions.

With the outstanding accomplishments by our team and the women who have come before us to establish the club where it is today, we strive to reach this standard of success and achievement, and your donations will support us in reaching these goals throughout our season and postseason!
