The Connecticut Moot Court Board provides UConn Law students with opportunities to develop and refine their written and oral advocacy skills through competitive appellate advocacy. Each year, our students represent UConn Law in moot court competitions across the country, where they research complex legal issues, prepare appellate briefs, and present oral arguments before panels of judges and practicing attorneys.
Participation in these competitions provides students with practical advocacy experience beyond the classroom, but it also involves significant costs. Funds raised through IGNITE will help support competition-related expenses, including registration fees, travel, and lodging, allowing our students to continue representing UConn Law at regional and national competitions.
Your support helps make these opportunities available to our students and strengthens UConn Law's presence in intercollegiate advocacy competitions. We appreciate your support of the Connecticut Moot Court Board and our student competitors.
Any additional funds will be used for the general activities of UConn student-led organizations.
