The Human Rights Law Association ("HRLA") at the University of Connecticut School of Law is committed to raising awareness of domestic and international human rights issues and creating opportunities for students to engage with the field of human rights law. Through educational events, professional development opportunities, and discussions with attorneys and human rights experts, HRLA allows students to learn about important human rights issues while connecting with members of the legal and broader community who share these interests.
Funds raised through the Ignite Campaign will help us continue to bring human rights experts and practitioners to campus, host events on a variety of human rights issues, and provide opportunities for students to learn more about careers and advocacy in the field. Donor support allows us to expand these opportunities and continue fostering awareness, engagement, and leadership in human rights at UConn Law.
Any additional funds will be used for the general activities of UConn student-led organizations.
