The UConn Law Mock Trial Society is the only organization providing regular trial advocacy training to the entire student body. With annual competitions, both intramural and inter-scholastic, complemented by visiting lectures and workshops, students learn necessary practice skills to engage in the legal profession. Membership in the Mock Trial Society is a transcript-recognized honor at UConn Law. Understanding of this, the UConn Law faculty recently allocated two non-graded credits for each student participating in an inter-scholastic competition. Funds raised will directly support intramural and inter-scholastic competitions as well as organization-wide meetings. Any additional funds will be used for the general activities of UConn student-led organizations.
