The Engineering Ambassadors are the student representatives of UConn’s College of Engineering. We want to share our amazing experiences as students pursuing the goal of becoming Engineers. Through Engineering Ambassadors outreach, we seek to connect with K-12 students, prospective students and their families, alumni, industry partners, and the community through school visits and tours of the College of Engineering. We hope to inspire others to see the amazing opportunities in the engineering field and at UConn’s College of Engineering.
Our campaign is dedicated to supporting our student volunteers who drive our outreach initiatives. Like many other organizations on campus, we have not been immune to budget cuts due to rising costs. We are seeking to re-instate initiatives such as service recognition, where active members earn incentives for volunteering milestones. Rewarding our members for their time and dedication to our organization allows us to keep them engaged and excited, which helps keep our events fully staffed.
Any additional funds will be used for the general activities of UConn student-led organizations.
