EWB-UConn models its activities after its parent organization. Our personal focus is to provide UConn students with experiential educational opportunities by linking them with international engineering projects that benefit disadvantaged communities world-wide. Our work aims to provide our members with valuable real-world skills while giving the people we serve a better quality of life.
Our chapter has three active projects-- a sanitation project in Peru, an irrigation project in Kenya, and a portable STEM Lab in Jamaica. We are also involved in our local community. With three projects supported by donations, our club hopes to continue helping the world around us.
Any additional funds will be used for the general activities of UConn student-led organizations.
The UConn Foundation (EIN 06-6070722) is an independent, not-for-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization that exists to support the educational, scientific, cultural, research, and recreational objectives of the University of Connecticut.
