UConn Chamber Orchestra Club

Welcome to UConn Chamber Orchestra Club!

UC Chamber is a student run ensemble that aims to provide a place for musicians of all skill levels to play their instrument outside of regular classes! We do this by practicing a handful of on theme pieces, which is then preformed at an in-house concert at the end of each semester.

Joining the ensemble is easy, as we are a non-audition orchestra! In contrast, we only require a placement video to be submitted, in order to ensure an equal distribution of parts. Furthermore, we also provide paper and online sheet music for ease of notation and accessibility.

This year UC Chamber is fundraising to be able to become even more accessible to students across campus. As our ensemble grows, we want to be able to play more polished and well known music, music that typically comes at a steeper cost. In addition, having more funds will give us the opportunity to create more community outreach events, in which we will be able to spread the joy and fun of music to the greater population.

We hope that you will consider donating to our cause! Every year, students stop playing their instruments just because a formal ensemble is inaccessible from either time or skill constrains. Your support will allow us to continue to foster this musical community that we have created on campus.

Any additional funds will be used for the general activities of the group.
