UConn Woodsmen

Thank you for supporting the UConn Woodsmen!

We are a college-level Timbersports team that competes in traditional lumberjack events across the Northeast. This fall, our team will be traveling to several competitions, continuing to build and improve upon the past years. Over the past seasons, we’ve earned multiple top finishes at SUNY Cobleskill, SUNY ESF, Paul Smith’s College, University of New Hampshire, and more.

Your support through our Ignite campaign is crucial to the success of our team. In the past, donations have helped us cover essential costs such as travel expenses, racing axes, bow saws, cross cuts, chainsaw maintenance, safety equipment, and even the purchase of a sawmill!

We rely on Ignite donations to maintain, repair, and replace our aging equipment, ensuring that our athletes can continue to excel in competitions. This year, we aim to purchase racing axes and bowsaw blades, along with other essential gear.

The team thoroughly appreciates your support, and we look forward to seeing you at our competitions!

Any additional funds will be used for the general activities of UConn student-led organizations.
