A Minor Ignite

A Minor is Uconn’s premier co-ed a cappella group, and are one of 10 total groups at UConn today. Originating from the Asian American Cultural Center, they perform all around campus, throughout their community and often travel to schools around the northeast to collaborate with other singers. As a competition group, they participate in the International Competition of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) every other year, and have won multiple awards including a second place title at the Northeast Semifinal in Boston 2024! They appreciate any and all donations; their funds are used for reserving rehearsal spaces, transportation efforts, competition registration fees, and so much more. They love to perform and to experience new opportunities through music, but ultimately they love spending time together and cultivating a strong sense of friendship and community. On and off the stage, A Minor is not just an ensemble; they are a family united by their love for music and each other.
