UConn Formula SAE

At UConn Formula SAE, we are dedicated to shaping the next generation of engineers and business leaders. Our team's mission to design, build, and compete drives us to push the boundaries of automotive engineering, foster a hands-on learning environment, and offer invaluable real-world experience that cannot be replicated in the classroom.

Our team's passions continually push us to achieve bigger and better things. Last year, our internal combustion (IC) vehicle earned an impressive 4th place finish at our Michigan competition—the highest finish in our team's history! Additionally, last year, we built our team's first-ever electric vehicle (EV), further pushing the boundaries of our knowledge and technical abilities.

This year we are aiming even higher. With podiums within reach, we are committed to improving our vehicles and performance. Your generous donations will directly contribute to the construction of our IC and EV, allowing us to purchase essential parts and shop necessities in anticipation of our competitions this summer.
