We are the University Ballet Company:

Founded at the begining of 2020, the University Ballet Company is UConn's premier ballet company! We welcome dancers of all levels, from students who have never taken a ballet class, to students continuing to follow their longtime passion. Some of our dancers have trained with renowned companies including the American Ballet Theatre, Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Ellison Balley, and many more.

What Your Contributions Mean to Us:

Donating to the University Ballet Company will support a student led organization that gives members an outlet to experience the art of ballet. From allowing skilled dancers to continue pursuing their passions while in college, or giving someone the opportunity to dance in their first ever ballet performance, we aim to share our love of ballet with all UConn students, and the audiences we perform for.

The University Ballet Company relies on fundraising as one of our main sources of funding. Our goals are to keep performing, continue to improve our shows, and introduce more students to the world of ballet. Your contributions to the company are extremely valued, as they will allow us to keep doing what we love.

Where Will Your Contributions Go:

Any funds raised will be put towards payments that are a part of producing one show a semester. Those payments include:

• Show venue payments & Other off-campus costs
• Purchasing new and updating old costumes
• Rental/Purchase of props
• Any additional funds will be used for the general activites of the group.
