Public Interest Law Group

The Public Interest Law Group (PILG) supports UConn Law students committed to public interest law. We raise funds to provide fellowships for students taking unpaid public interest internships, allowing them to gain valuable legal experience while serving underrepresented communities across Connecticut. Even a small donation makes a large impact, helping to extend legal aid to those who need it most. In addition to donations, we fundraise through our annual auction. Any additional funds will be used for the general activities of PILG, including pro bono work and public interest events.
