The UConn Law Basketball Club, though one of the newest on campus, has quickly become a hub for building camaraderie and teamwork beyond the usual law school grind. In our first year, we organized weekly pickup games, hosted a 3v3 tournament, sent two teams to compete at the Western New England Law School Tournament, and even faced off against Yale Law in an exciting matchup.
This year, we've continued our weekly pickup games and are gearing up for our October 19th 3v3 tournament in partnership with the Black Law Students Association. We've also taken our efforts beyond basketball, helping register Hartford residents to vote. Looking ahead, we aim to send teams back to the Western New England Law School Tournament, host Yale for our second annual Duel of the Dogs, and organize a 3v3 tournament for all Connecticut Law schools. Any additional funds will be used for the general activities of the group.
