Colin Bemis

Hello! My name is Colin, and I am proud to be running the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon in support of the Korey Stringer Institute (KSI).

This will be my first marathon—something I’ve long aspired to accomplish—and I am incredibly honored to represent an organization whose mission is so deeply meaningful to me. KSI is dedicated to providing research, education, advocacy, and consultation to maximize performance, optimize safety, and prevent sudden death among athletes, warfighters, and laborers.

As an athletic trainer, this mission aligns directly with my daily work. I strive to provide the highest level of care to my athletes, ensuring their health and safety while giving them the opportunity to perform at their best. The work KSI does at the forefront of athlete safety is essential in equipping professionals like myself with the knowledge, protocols, and advocacy needed to create safer environments for athletes at all levels.

It is truly an honor to take on my first marathon in support of an organization that is making such a profound impact. I am grateful for any support you are willing to give—your contribution directly helps advance life-saving initiatives and makes a difference in the lives of so many.
