Donatations to the UConn Abrahamic Program Fund will be open on April 21-22
UConn Abrahamic Programs bring people together across borders, cultures, and faiths to explore today’s most pressing issues in the Middle East and North Africa. Grounded in shared Abrahamic traditions and UConn’s commitment to innovation and inquiry, the program advances three core pillars: research and innovation, education and student programming, and dialogue and community engagement.
A central initiative within this work is the Joseph I. Lieberman Abrahamic Innovation & Entrepreneurship Program, which supports collaboration among universities, entrepreneurs, and communities across the MENA region. The Lieberman Abrahamic Program focuses on building a consortium of entrepreneurial universities in the MENA region and integrate them into local, regional, and global innovation ecosystems
Through workshops, courses, research collaborations, and cross-cultural exchange, the program fosters mutual understanding and creates pathways for cooperation and economic development.
The UConn Foundation (EIN 06-6070722) is an independent, not-for-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization that exists to support the educational, scientific, cultural, research, and recreational objectives of the University of Connecticut.
