Honors students explore, create, and lead inside and outside the classroom. They discover and nurture their passions, solve problems, and work in teams. Across all UConn campuses, Honors supports 9 student organizations and delivers additional programming for community, wellness, and overall success.
Student activities support academic achievement. Students who are connected to their campus community and feel supported by their peers are more likely to thrive in all aspects of their UConn Honors careers. Students who are active in Honors organizations develop skills in leadership, project management, and communication. Almost all events—whether hosted by a student organization or by Honors—are open to the entire UConn student body, so when you support Honors, you support all Huskies.
Last year, $42,484 was spent directly on Honors student activities. This is only $19 per Honors student! Your donation to the Young Honors Alumni Fund helps ensure that these opportunities remain available for all current and future Honors Huskies.
Our UConn Gives goal is $2409: $1 for every Honors student.
