Since the opening of the Rainbow Center in 1998, we have provided support, education, and advocacy for thousands of Queer and trans-spectrum students, trained hundreds of mentors for our IRIS mentoring program, facilitated countless programs that foster community, and offered diverse, educational leadership opportunities for students, faculty, and staff. The Rainbow Center makes a difference in the lives of our LGBTQ+ self-identified students every day. Throughout the years, our alumni have reminded us of the profound impact that the Rainbow Center has had on their personal, professional, and academic development. Our work is rooted in addressing the needs of the incredible and vibrant LGBTQ+ UConn community. However, we can’t do this work without your support!
Your support for the center helps us keep being a safe space for our community. Donations support our student staff's professional development, our Mentorship program by providing scholarships for our mentors, Lavender graduation stoles and supplies to celebrate our grads, and so much more.
